About this website

This site describes services offered by Decode Modus. It is written to explain what we do and to help you decide whether to talk to us. It is not an offer, a quotation or a contract.

The contracting entity

Decode Modus is a brand. The company is currently in the process of registering in Malaysia. Until that is complete, any agreement you enter into and every invoice you receive is with and from Fastcom PLT. We would rather tell you that here than surprise you at the quotation stage.

Prices and quotations

There are no prices on this website, deliberately, because what we charge depends on the size and shape of the work. Any price is only valid when we have put it in writing to you, and only on the terms and within the validity period stated in that document.

What we say about results

The figures published on this site come from campaigns and programmes we ran ourselves, and we say so where they appear. They describe what happened in our own business. They are not a forecast of what will happen in yours, and nothing on this site is a guarantee of a particular result.

Advertising results in particular depend on your market, your offer, your prices and whether your team attends the meetings that get booked. We will tell you honestly where we think the risks are before you spend anything.

What is agreed for a project

Scope, timing, payment terms, what is included and what is not, and who owns what, are all set out in the written proposal or agreement for that specific piece of work. Where anything in that document differs from this page, that document is the one that counts.

Your responsibilities

Work we do together depends on things only you can supply: access to your own accounts and systems, accurate information about your business, decisions when we need them, and someone available to attend booked meetings. Where those are missing, timelines and results move, and we will say so at the time rather than at the end.

Ownership

The text, design, marks and images on this website belong to us. Please do not copy or reuse them without asking. For client work, what you own is set out in the agreement for that project. As a rule, what we build for you on your own accounts is yours and keeps running if we stop working together.

Where this site links elsewhere, we do not control what those sites do or say and we are not responsible for their content.

Liability

We take care over what is published here, but we do not warrant that it is complete or free of error, and we are not liable for loss arising from relying on this website alone. Liability in connection with paid work is governed by the agreement for that work. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the Malaysian courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
